Who we are

Bridging foreign companies and the local market

We are not a generic consultancy. We are a team with real presence, built relationships, and accumulated experience — the hardest asset to replicate.

Our story

We were born from a real market need

Mapora Consulting was born from a need we experienced firsthand: international companies need much more than a contact to enter a new market — they need to understand how business really works on the ground, and to have a partner capable of turning opportunities into results.

After years of experience in multinational companies across Latin America, the United States, and other international markets, we identified a clear gap: many companies have excellent products and resources, but struggle to find the right partners, understand local dynamics, and turn a commercial opportunity into a sustainable business.

Mapora was created precisely to close that gap.

We combine corporate experience, knowledge of local markets, and execution capacity to connect international companies with the right partners, build commercial relationships, and develop concrete business.

We are not simply intermediaries or a traditional consulting firm. We operate where commerce needs an expert articulator.

Our values

What defines us as a team

Integrity

We say what we can do and do what we say. If an opportunity is not viable, we say so honestly before committing resources.

Results orientation

Every mandate has clear objectives and success metrics. We measure success in closed operations, not hours worked.

Long-term relationships

We build relationships, not transactions. Most of our clients have been working with us for over 3 years.

Deep local knowledge

We understand the market from the inside: its written and unwritten rules, its key players, and its real dynamics.

Our approach

How we operate differently

01

Mandates, not generic retainers

Every project has a defined scope, a clear objective, and success conditions agreed from the start.

02

Own network, not databases

Our connections are real relationships built over years — not cold contacts pulled from LinkedIn.

03

Presence in the market

We operate from inside the market, with first-hand knowledge of its conditions, players, and opportunities.

04

Direct and transparent communication

Periodic reports, direct access to the team, and honesty about the real status of each operation.

Our difference

Why Mapora

Bridge between business cultures

We understand how Colombian business leaders think and decide. And we understand what international companies need to feel confident investing. That dual perspective is our competitive advantage.

Experience across Latin America, the U.S., and Europe

Execution, not just strategy

Many firms deliver a diagnosis. We deliver results. From opportunity identification to closing commercial agreements, we accompany every stage of the process.
